Usually the rehearsal dinner is hosted by the parents of the groom. If this is not possible however, there’s nothing wrong with other relatives, the parents of the bride, or the bridal couple themselves doing the honors. A wedding rehearsal dinner can be anything from a fancy catered affair and a formal dinner in a restaurant, to a casual backyard barbeque.
All members of the wedding party and the parents of the bride and groom should be in attendance. The officiant should also be welcome. Depending on the budget, siblings, grandparents, dates of members of the wedding party, and some out of town guests can also be included.
