The Event Planners job is to implement the bride’s ideas. No matter how large or small of a wedding or budget, a consultant can assist with one simple detail or orchestrate the entire event. They have many roles: Etiquette expert, creative planner, coordinator, mediator, business manager, messenger, and even supply a shoulder to cry on. The actual investment you make will depend on the consultants form of billing. An hourly rate may be set for specific duties, a flat fee may be set for the entire planning of a wedding, or a percentage of the total wedding bill may be assessed. Establish up front the type of payment schedule that is agreeable to both parties.
